Dreary Dreeze

As I sat at work looking out at the gray sky through the tiny slit of a window in my office, I began to pine for the chance to slip under the blanket my grandmother made for me on my fourth birthday, curl up with a mystery book and a bottle of Coca-cola and read until it was time for dinner. This, for some unknown reason, also made me think of a book of poetry I wrote in my youth titled - The Dreary Dreeze.

This must have been a class assignment since I don't recall being a poet as one of my many early childhood occupational fantasies.

The next page appears to be another demon. This time his severed head is followed by a trail of red guts made from red construction paper.

The poetry begins with a poem called - Jumping Off a Cliff
Another part of the text says - jumping sound poetry - then it continues into the lines.

People scream win they see some one jump.
But then they would cry.
You'll hear cracks from the person falling.
Then you'll hear gravel skipping.
Will you hear a splat?

All spelling errors are kept to maintain this poem's integrity.
The picture shows someone falling off a cliff and another person screaming "ah" in a conversation bubble.

Acrostic Poetry
K irk is a nice name
I like pizza and submarine sandwiches
R eading is fun
K irk likes art

If you click on the picture to enlarge it you will see a picture of what seems to be me at a table drawing.

Haiku
An old frog dies
And a cat had baby
And a frog crocked

Nature

Whats' a Grandma?

Whats' a Grandma?

Some one to give preasnets
to give candy
to take to the mall
some one who's nice to me
and is not mad at you
That's a Grandma

Diamante Poem
Dreary Dreeze
smelling, ugly
glowing, smelling, biting
freaking out, runing, crawling
stuped, ugly
Drokey Dumy
