Food Poison

According to a recent National Geographic article, the Cavendish banana has recently contracted the Panama Fungus. Little did you know that if you like bananas as much as myself, you eat these bananas everyday. The Panama Fungus wiped out the "Big Mike" a few decades ago, what we were left with is the smaller Chinese version, and if this fungus has its way the world will be robbed of this wonderful fruit since there is no known cure for this disease. With our spinach coming down with E. Coli, our peanut butter spreading salmonella and our bananas dying what else do we have that is safe to consume?
Our fish are not only over-fished to exhausting levels, but they are laden with mercury and have been found to be void of functioning sex organs due to hormones found in run-off from dairy farms, leaving us with fish that cannot reproduce. We have a punch of "Its Just Pat" fish who are crazy and unable to make more crazed little fishes.
Then we have cows who are so shot up with hormones they cry all the time and are constantly asking us if they look fat.
Maybe we should genetically engineer all our food since we are doing such a smashing good job with our natural foods. What do you think?

I think if we have no bananas I'm going to have to take this brittle, bursitis ridden right of mine and seriously punch someone with an unnatural force. Please continue your banana research so i'll know I'm punching the right person.

As dfor the rest, I'm perfecting an awesome beef stew, y'know, so um... I'm out.
