"Legend has it the Bartleby kid rode his bike down this hill on a dare. He lost control of his bike, crashed into the creek and broke his neck. The neighborhood kids knew he was hurt and went for help but it turned out he broke his neck and drowned in six inches of water. That's why we call this Neck Breaker Hill. Some people say the creek is haunted and that the Bartleby boy won't let anyone go down the hill unscathed. I dare you to ride down it."
